Drawn from the Vault

Description

Drawn from the Vault: February 2024 is an opportunity to escape the cold in a fun and immersive workshop experience for children from ages 9 – 12. Our goal is to help young people begin a journey of creativity by understanding their voice as an artist. As we investigate three original works of art from our permanent collection, we will sample a variety of media to explore a range of creative possibilities.

Do you know a child who loves to explore and make art? This workshop is for them.

In this workshop, participants will explore a birchbark biting by Angelique Merasty, a painting by Allen Sapp, and a photograph of a constructed diorama by Diana Thorneycroft.
